Warehouse Forman
Position Summary
The Warehouse Foreman will be responsible for all Warehouseinventory. This position will require the ability to complete purchasing,shipping and receiving of new equipment for Technician stock and jobrequirements. Maintaining a stock of shop supplies, tools, and swaps will beexpected.
The Warehouse Foreman will also be required to service andmaintain portable fire extinguishers for current and new customers as well asservicing portable fire extinguishers for daily stock. The Foreman will providea safe and clean work environment in Fireline’s warehouse and shop areas. TheForeman will also be required to transport material requiring a D.O.T. Driver’slicense.
Responsibilities
Handle/distributeshipping and receiving
Inventorycontrol
Maintain asafe and workable area
Operateforklift as needed
Createpurchase orders from work orders
Ordermaterials for jobs
Contactvendors to check the status of purchase orders
Reviewpurchase order confirmations
Pullmaterial for sales tickets
Preparematerial lists for jobs
Check inmaterials for jobs
Monitor/Reviewinventory
Transfermaterial from trucks to inventory
Add itemsto inventory
Transfermaterial to and from trucks
Transfermaterial to and from jobs
Providegreat customer service to customers and technicians
Assist atthe front counter with walk in customers when needed.
Tagextinguishers as necessary
Inspect,repair and test fire extinguishers using hand tools, hydrostatic testequipment, and monitoring devices.
Performall maintenance and inspections for walk in customers.
Dismantleextinguishers and examines the internal mechanical parts, extinguishing agentsand expelling means; replaces worn or damaged parts.
Cleanextinguishers and recharge them with approved materials
Transportequipment between offices and make deliveries to customers when necessary.
Assist inannual fire extinguisher inspections when needed
OtherRequirements:
Ability tolift a 55lbs
Ability towork with small tools
Ability towork independently and in a team setting
Ability tostand for 8 hours
Validdriver’s license
Ability toobtain a D.O.T. Driver’s license
